Reasons I Joined Zyia

Spread the love

This is going to sound incredibly weird, but I joined Zyia after only wearing 1 pair of leggings. I have been with Zyia for one year. This isn’t how I thought my first year with Zyia would go. I thought I would have put more energy and effort into it. I thought I would have made more friends. But here are some reasons I still joined Zyia.

My journey through Zyia has been full of peaks and valleys. Some days I wanted to quit, and some days I want to quit my job and focus ONLY on this. Overall though I am so happy I joined Zyia because it has taught me about myself. Things that I have been suppressing and not dealing with and now I work through those things to make ME a better person.

REASONS I JOINED ZYIA

I was talking to the person I signed up under for 4 years. I found her when I was either in Washington or just moved to California, and I admired her from a distance. She was a big reason I joined Zyia. For a long time, $300 was very expensive to us.

I couldn’t sign up if this wasn’t something I was serious and could devote the time. I had joined another business and it was NOT what I thought at all. The next time I joined a business, I wanted to join a team that had an amazing community. I was in another group that wasn’t very welcoming and it was really dishearten by it. It honestly took a long time to be able to put myself out there.

DISCOUNT

The discount is AMAZING! We get 25% off clothes and accessories. Plus there is Make Room Monday where it could be 50-75% off. I get my family and friends Zyia for birthday and holidays.

Zyia also releases new items every Wednesday. Zyia also has clothes accessories for the whole family – women, men, and kids. The clothes can be used for some many different functions. I have used Zyia for date night, workouts, running errands and everyday life. That is one of my favorite things about Zyia.

EDUCATION

The person I signed up under has everything laid out. I just have to put in the work and reach out to people. We have monthly calls where we go over everything from the previous month and goals for the next month. Recently our team did the moonshot challenge to rank advance in 2 months. Our leadership team put together daily and weekly action plans to help the rest of the team.

RESOURCES

This is something I found out AFTER I joined. There is a marketing group that reps can post pictures of them in different outfits. I have recently joined a few groups of people who create graphics for everything, so all I have to do is plug into my social media.

COMMUNITY

This is the biggest reason I joined was for the community. It was really important to me to find a group of women to connect with. I was in a group of another interest of mine, but it was more about our level than who we were as a person.

REASON I ALMOST DIDN’T

MLM

I had done another MLM before but it didn’t work out. It felt like they just wanted to sign me up and then leave me to figure it out. Plus, I think I also joined for all the wrong reasons because I never really bought in 100% on the brand.

EXPENSE

The starter kit is $300. It does come with 5 items and a $100 gift card. That is a lot of money for me. It’s a lot of money in general. I loved that I was never pressured to join to meet her numbers. She met me where I was, and I will always be thankful for that.

KNOWLEDGE

When I joined I had only tried on ONE pair of leggings. These leggings were amazing!! I could wear them to dinner to the gym to around town. I struggle with knowing the sizing still but I am getting better. Another downfall is that sizing never matched up to other brands. The sizing is inconsistent to me.

OVERALL

I have loved my experience so far with Zyia. If you are interested in starting anything, I would recommend creating a pro/cons list to see if it is worth it. Another thing I did was talk to my husband and let him know my plans. I also laid out what I needed from him and I was very specific with what he could do to help me.

Dates: Friday - Sundays until April 27
Time: 5:30p-9:30p

We got there around 6:30pm, and didn’t leave until 9:15pm. The website says the walk will take about an hour, but you can go at your own pace. There are so many lanterns in each animal exhibit.

We started going through the Asian Trail, there was year of animals. The Africa section was my favorite, but I am not going to tell you why. But it was a nice surprise, and I was way too excited.

There were hands on activities throughout the zoo, but by the time we got to some of the areas it was closed.
-make your lantern
-paint rocks to be placed around the zoo
-tattoos
-music each night

What are your “musts” when traveling? Let me k What are your “musts” when traveling? Let me know in the comments!

These are the things I always have when I travel: (arrow down)

1. Spare credit card/bank card - I typically bring this, but before my last trip my regular bank card got hacked. Now I make sure to always have 2 cards with me.
2. Portable charge/power banks - I have a charger that I keep in my car all the time. It's a 4 in 1 charger, but I also have portable charge that I keep in my bag. It has come in handy more times that I can count for me and other people.
3. Reusable water bottle - I have my Stanley when I am driving. While I am hiking I use either a water bladder or a hydroflask.
4. Reusable Bags - My favorite is the Mary Kay roll up bag. It has 4 plastic bags that holds everything I need for my morning/evening routine and shower time.
5. Books - I will most always have a physical book along with my kindle app. I love to read. During my hikes I stop throughout for snacks and reading.
6. Wet Wipes - My favorite is HyperGo because they have so many different scents. They are also 12x12 so usually 1 works for the whole body.
