Our anniversary is this month
We are celebrating 11 years together. We did our anniversary trip earlier in the month because he had a game on our exact anniversary. We went to Louisville, Kentucky for the weekend. We went 2 weeks before the Kentucky Derby. Thunder over Louisville is also during that time we were there. My gift to Gary was getting a baseball bat at Louisville Slugger with our name and anniversary date.
We got one the we first got married at the Texas Rangers stadium, but when we moved from Arizona to West Virginia it got lost. We mailed everything to my parents house because we only had so much room in our car. We were not renting a haul at the time. Some how the USPS lost a 40 pound box that had that bat inside.

I am OBSESSED with this stuff. I got a bundle 2 years ago for my birthday from Sephora. It was the brightening kit. It was so good. Then Gary got it for me at Christmas time. I literally can’t get enough of anything in the product line. I am currently using the brightening kit and the night treatment. There are so many mini bundles out there that I can’t stop buying them.
The Start of Baseball Season
There are so many mixed emotions with the start of this season. I don’t really know where to start or how to explain it but I am not ready for the season to start. I probably won’t go to many games this season but I haven’t been going the past few seasons. We are with a new affiliate (St. Louis Cardinals) and I don’t know much about this team. I don’t know much about the prospects or even name more than 2 players.
I am excited to be living in Illinois because we are so close to other MLB stadiums. I know we are going to Milwaukee for sure, but I can’t wait to go to Wrigley and the Southside. I am ready to visit other baseball stadiums over our own.
Self Care Sundays
I started this back during the pandemic when we were quarantined in California. I was off for almost a year in our apartment. I honestly become more of a home body because of it. I already liked being at home, now it’s all I want. But I started Self Care Sundays so I could honestly remember what day it was. At first I did for myself then sometimes Gary would do it with me. I have always had an interest in skin care from a distance but I really learned a lot about the products and order through this.
