Here’s to another 4 on 4 on Friday. It’s 4 things that I love on the 4th Friday of each month. This month’s theme is all about things that I am grateful for. One of my recent goals is to be more present in the moment, having more contentment and identifying gratitude. I am very much a planner and goal oriented. I want to hit a goal and move on to the next goal. I NEED to sit in things more even if it is uncomfortable.
SEEING THE POSITIVE IN THINGS
There have been a few events recently that would normally cause me to spiral into a deeper depression. I would have stuck it out or tried to fix or just accept it. Even though some situations didn’t play out the way I would have wanted, I can see the silver lining in it. I know where I stand with things and people.
OUR HOME GYM
We have saved and worked so hard to be able to create our home gym. I have been collecting pieces for a long time, and dragging them from state to state. I absolutely love everything in it. I have been working out more and loving how I have been feeling. It has been such a surreal feeling watching our gym come to life. We have saved, researched and found amazing deals on all of our equipment.
TRIVIA NIGHTS
We have been going to Wahlburgers almost every Friday for almost 6 months now. The only time we have missed is during the baseball season and themes we know nothing about. Lately we have been hanging out AFTER trivia and it has been so much fun. Recently we went over to someones house and played Cards Against Humanity. It was so much fun and we laughed so hard! Also we realized we are some messed up people.
WORKING FROM HOME
I transferred departments within my current job. I couldn’t be happier in my new department. One of the biggest benefits is that I can officially work for home. I absolutely love working from home. I have been in a good and bad flow being home. The “rule” that set for myself before going home has yet to happen. One of the rules was I had to wear one of my work shirts. I think I have followed this rule maybe the first week.
